Full-Time Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Programmes
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Full-time 2-year Ordinary National Diploma programmes of Sure Foundation Polytechnic for the 2017/2018 Academic Session. The Polytechnic offers the following programmes at the Ordinary National Diploma level:

B . GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND)
PROGRAMMES

SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT& BUSINESS STUDIES

  1. ACCOUNTANCY
  2. BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION & MANAGEMENT
  3. MASS COMMUNICATION
  4. PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
  5. MATHEMATICS / STATISTICS

SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’Level or NECO with at least 5 credits at one sitting, which
must include: English Language (not Literature in English) and Mathematics and any
three subjects from the following: Economics, Commerce, Business Methods/Business
Studies, Accounts/Book Keeping, Literature in English, Government, Shorthand,
Geography, Government/History, Biology, Agricultural Science, Office Practice, Physics,
Chemistry (only one Science subject: ) OR:

NABTEB: With at least 5 credits at one sitting, which must include: Mathematics &
English Language and any three from the following: Principles of Accounts, Biology,
Economics/ Commerce and Social Studies.

MASS COMMUNICATION

SSCE or WASCE O’level or NECO with at least five (5) credits at one sitting, which
must include: English Language, and Mathematics and any other three subjects from:
History, Literature in English, Economics, Commerce, Fine Arts, Government,
CRK/IRK, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Basic Electricity, Geography, Typewriting,
Principles of Accounting, Any Nigerian Language.
Passes in Physics or Electronics/Basic Electricity will be an advantage.

SCIENCE LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY

SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings,
which must include: Mathematics, English Language and two subjects from Physics,
Biology/ Agricultural Science, Health Science, Geography, and one other subject
from Technical Drawing, Metal or Wood-Work, Chemistry, Basic Electricity,
Economics, Further Mathematics, and Fine Art at least a Pass in each of the three basic sciences i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics is required.

COMPUTER SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY

SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five (5) credits at two
sitting, which must include Mathematics, English Language, a basic science, and any
two other subjects chosen from the following: Economics, Geography, Chemistry,
Further/Additional Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Biology/ Agricultural Science
and Typewriting.
Candidates are expected to have at least a pass in Physics. OR

NABTEB: With at least five credits at one sitting, which must include Mathematics,
Physics and Basic Electronics and two subjects from the following: Biology,
Chemistry, and General Metal Work.

SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

BUILDING TECHNOLOGY

SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings
which must include: English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two of the
following: Economics/Economics, Technical Drawing/Fine Art, Chemistry,
Geography, Wood-Work, Biology, Religious Knowledge, Metal Work, Building
Construction and Physics.
A Pass in Fine Art or Technical Drawing will be an advantage. OR

NABTEB: With at least five credit at two sittings, which must include: Mathematics,
Physics/Chemistry and General Woodwork, and two subjects from the following:
Economics, Biology and English Language.

ARCHITECTURE

SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings
which must include: English Language, Mathematics and Physics and any two from
the following: Chemistry, Biology, Technical Drawing, Art, Geography, History,
Further Mathematics, Economics/ Commerce, Business Methods, and Religious
Knowledge. 
At least a pass in Fine Art or Technical Drawing will be an advantage.

NABTEB: With at least five credits at two sittings, which must include: Mathematics,
Physics/Chemistry and General Woodwork, and any two from the following:
Economics, Biology and English Language.

SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING

(i)COMPUTER ENGINEERING
(iii) ELECTRICAL/ ELECTRONIC  ENGINEERING
(iv) MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’ level or NECO with at least five credit at two sittings,
which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and
one subject from: Biology/ Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic
Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work.

OR

(ND COMPUTER ENGINEERING)

NABTEB: With at least five credits at two sittings, which must include Mathematics,
English Language, Physics and Basic Electronics and any two from the following:
Biology, Chemistry.

ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING

NABTEB With at least five credits at two sittings, which must include Mathematics,
English Language, Physics and Basic Electronics, and two other subjects from the
following: Chemistry, Biology, General Metal Work, and Building/Engineering
Drawing.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

NABTEB With at least five credits at two sittings, which must include Mathematics,
English Language, Physics and General Metal Work, and two other subjects from the
following: Chemistry, Biology, General Woodwork, Basic Electronics, and
Building/Engineering Drawing.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Applicants are expected to:

  1. Pay the sum of  N5,000  (Exclusive of Bank charges) to  any of  the bank accounts below before proceeding to downloading the forms and duly applying online at www.sfp.edu.ng

ii. Log on to Sure Foundation Polytechnic website at
http://www.sfp.edu.ng
iii. Click on the "Apply Now" link from the menu.
iv. Click “Complete your application or Want to print out application”
v. Fill the application form provided. Ensure that you provide accurate data at all times. In addition to your personal information, you will be required to provide your WAEC/GCE/NECO result as well as previous educational history.
vi. Ensure you print out your Application form, fee payment receipt and keep them safely. 
vii. You will be required to upload a colour passport photograph of NOT MORE THAN 20kb in size.
viii. Print your completed application form before submission. You will be required to present this at a later date, so keep it safely.

5. Successful candidates must adhere strictly to the registration procedure as highlighted on the Polytechnic website.

6. The Institution has accommodation facilities. Students will therefore NOT BE REQUIRED to make their own arrangements for accommodation and transportation.
